The Best Story of August 2024

I started using the LEFEET S1 PRO last year as a tool to start my own business underwater treasure hunting called Snaggletooth Ventures LLC. Offshore North Carolina, USA is where I was fossil hunting on a dive site called the Meg ledge, a far-out and secret fossil hunting spot known for its fossils and for the treasure hunters diving its waters.

The spot I was diving at was located 30 miles offshore from Carolina Beach, 100-120 feet deep. The S1 PRO was perfect for my activities, especially when paired with my Cressi freediving fins. I was able to do 15-20 minute solo dives up to 8 times a day. The batteries performed excellently on high speed, allowing me to excavate the ocean floor and discover numerous fossils.

Thanks to LEFEET's various speed settings, I didn't need extra weights for treasure hunting and felt incredibly lightweight and agile. Diving with a steel 120 tank and a pony bottle, the LEFEET effortlessly carried me from the surface to the ocean floor and back, with a bag of treasure on each ascent.

When exiting the water, the lightweight design of the LEFEET made it convenient compared to other DPVs with bulky batteries. I had two sets of batteries, which worked perfectly as they only took an hour to charge. This allowed me to swiftly switch batteries, grab a snack, and dive back in.

Last week, I even took it on a plane to Puerto Rico to go snorkeling with my girlfriend. We visited the bioluminescent lagoon and used it to illuminate the blue light of the algae, creating a fascinating spectacle. Those with us were thrilled as they could see much more clearly.

I have a deep appreciation for the LEFEET S1 PRO as it helped me realize my dream of becoming an underwater treasure hunter and discovering hundreds of artifacts that were millions of years old.
