Can I take a LEFEET underwater scooter on a plane?
LEFEET P1, P1 Lite, and C1 have batteries rated at 100 Wh or below, which generally meet standard airline battery-capacity limits.
P1 XR uses a 160 Wh battery. Many airlines allow batteries of this capacity with prior approval, but policies vary. Contact every operating airline before departure to confirm acceptance of your scooter and batteries and obtain any required approval.
Following LEFEET’s travel guidance, carry your scooter and batteries in cabin baggage, not checked baggage. Protect battery terminals against short circuits and check cabin-baggage size and weight limits.
What is the difference between LEFEET P1 and P1 XR?
P1 uses a 100 Wh battery and offers up to 2 m/s speed and 60 minutes of runtime. P1 XR uses a 160 Wh battery, increasing maximum speed to 2.3 m/s and runtime to 90 minutes. P1 is lighter; P1 XR prioritizes performance and endurance. Maximum runtime does not mean continuous operation at maximum speed.
Should I choose P1 Lite or P1?
P1 Lite weighs 1.8 kg and offers a compact option for travel, snorkeling, and recreational diving. P1 provides higher maximum speed and a removable battery, making it more flexible for users who want to swap batteries between sessions. P1 Lite’s battery is not user-removable.
How long does a LEFEET underwater scooter last on one charge?
Published maximum runtimes reach 60 minutes for P1 and P1 Lite, and 90 minutes for P1 XR. Actual runtime depends on speed setting, load, water conditions, temperature, and battery condition. Higher-power operation reduces runtime, so plan your session with a suitable battery reserve rather than relying on the maximum figure.
Can I replace or swap the battery?
P1 and P1 XR have removable batteries and share the same motor body, which accepts either the compatible 100 Wh or 160 Wh battery. Change batteries only in a dry environment, never underwater. P1 Lite has a non-removable battery and does not support user battery swaps.
Should I choose a single or dual underwater scooter setup?
A single unit keeps your setup lighter and simpler. A dual setup combines two scooters for greater thrust, but adds weight, batteries, and equipment to manage. Choose according to your diving needs and experience, not maximum speed alone. Extra thrust is not a substitute for safe dive planning.
Can I use LEFEET underwater scooters with a SUP, scuba tank, or camera?
Selected LEFEET configurations support SUP, scuba-tank, and camera mounting with compatible accessories. Requirements vary by model and mounting position; some setups also require a Remote Control Extension Kit. Check compatibility and package contents before ordering. P1 accessories are not universally interchangeable with older S1 PRO or C1 accessories.
