Since I dive in a lake with a muddy bottom and the scooter is negatively buoyant in water, a securing strap is essential. The build quality is high.

Excelent idea
I purchased these straps and it is an excelent idea since the P1 has negative boyancy, so it is just great to be able to strap it on, and feel free to move around reducing the risk of loss!

Anti Lost Strap is a must
i bought my C1 scooter a while ago and have to admit that without that strap it would have been lost at least 3 times. As I am using C1 not only for swimming pool but also in the lake so once it will be lost it is lost forever
