The remote controller is well-built and feels excellent in the hand — the materials and ergonomics are high-quality. It performs flawlessly as long as it’s used with the standard bracket mounts.
However, as a freediver using the scooter mounted on thigh straps, I encountered signal issues. The basic remote did not maintain a strong enough connection when held in hand away from the brackets. Because of this, I had to purchase the Remote Control Extension Kit, which provides a stronger and more reliable signal.
