At LEFEET, we don’t just build underwater scooter; we build tools for explorers. Sometimes, our community finds a purpose for our gear that we never fully imagined. This week, we sit down with Igor, a father of four and a long-time LEFEET enthusiast who has been with us since the very first S1.
Why Igor Upgraded Through Every Generation of LEFEET
Igor’s journey mirrors our own evolution. Starting with a single S1, then moving to Dual S1 Pros, and finally to the P1 XR Dual Unit, he has personally felt the leaps in power and technology.
"Honestly, I've been using every generation of your scooters," Igor says. "With the Dual XRs, there's enough power to tow myself and two teenagers at a very high speed—which is just pure fun."
Discovering the Heart of the Reef
While patrolling the reef and keeping a watchful eye on his children, Igor spotted something the ocean usually hides: a perfect, heart-shaped opening in the rock about five meters down.
"I’m no freediver, but with the P1 XR—especially traveling at speed—those depths feel effortless," Igor explains.
Using the massive thrust of the Dual Unit setup, he was able to glide through the formation without the frantic kicking that often disturbs marine life. He took his time, checked for eels and fragile coral, and then went for it. For a few seconds, he was inside a living reef that has been forming for hundreds of thousands of years.
Above him, his wife floated peacefully at the surface with their toddler, keeping a watchful eye from above while pregnant with their fourth child. (Their fourth has since arrived! But on this day, the reef was a playground for the whole family, present and future.) She’s used to Igor’s "I’ll be right back" actually meaning "I found something incredible."

More Than Just Fun: The "Safety Net" for 4 Kids
While the videos of Igor zooming through schools of fish look like pure recreation, there is a serious side to his setup. With four children in the water, the LEFEET P1 XR Dual Unit has become an essential safety tool.
"Going snorkeling without a scooter as a 'safety net' doesn't feel right for me anymore," Igor told us. "When the kids are in the water, I always have the system on hand just in case we need to get to shore quickly."
The P1 XR Dual Unit provides 26kgf of raw pulling power. For Igor, that translates to a high-speed towing capacity. He can tow himself and two teenagers at a high velocity, ensuring that if a current picks up or someone gets tired, he has the mechanical muscle to keep everyone safe.

The Evolution of an Explorer
Igor’s journey with LEFEET didn't start with the P1 XR. He is a true veteran of the modular ecosystem:
- S1: Where the compact journey began.
- Dual S1 Pros: When he realized that two motors are better than one.
- P1 XR Dual Unit: The ultimate evolution of power and intelligence.
He now rigs his Dual Unit with an Insta360 X5 using an underwater enclosure and SmallRig gear, capturing the "living stained glass windows" created by the Maldivian sun breaking through the surface.

Igor’s Rules for the Reef
As a seasoned explorer, Igor left us with a few tips for anyone looking to follow in his wake:
- Respect the Reef: Give coral space. Don't touch, don't disturb, and take nothing but memories.
- Know Your Limits: Even with a high-performance diving propulsion vehicle, stay within your skill level and depth limits.
- Safety First: Ensure everyone in your group has proper flotation equipment and the skills to match the environment.
The best aquarium in the world has no glass walls. With the P1 XR Dual Unit, Igor isn't just watching the fish; he's staying with them.
